What to do right now

Book and check accessibility
Appointment time, ramp and lift, whether the patient can stay on a stretcher or must be moved to a wheelchair, and where the crew should wait.
For MRI — check contraindications
Pacemaker, metal implants, clips, older stents — clarify with the clinic beforehand. For claustrophobia or pain, a sedative as prescribed by a doctor.
Collect documents
Referral, passport, insurance policy, previous images on disc, the list of medication.
Book a crew with waiting time
Tell the dispatcher the address, floor, weight, appointment time and expected duration. Waiting is charged by the price list and the crew stays.
The return journey
After the scan, back up to the flat and into bed. After a contrast CT, plenty of water that day.

CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound or echocardiography for an immobile patient
A consultation at a clinic or hospital
Chemotherapy, dialysis or radiotherapy on a schedule — regular transport

Do not forget metal objects before an MRI
Do not schedule a late appointment at a distant clinic — waiting adds to the cost
Do not move a bedridden patient into a taxi wheelchair — injuries and blood-pressure drops

How much does transport to an MRI and back cost in Moscow?

Call-out 6,000 ₽, transport 6,000 ₽ per each started 30 minutes inside the MKAD in both directions, stretcher 1,000 ₽ per floor without a lift, waiting free for the first 15 minutes then 10,000 ₽ per 30 minutes. A typical city journey is 25,000–40,000 ₽.

Can regular dialysis transport be arranged?

Yes — on a schedule, with a fixed price for the route and a contract. Regular patients get the same crew, who know the building and the patient.

What if the doctor decides to admit the patient after the scan?

The crew arranges transport to hospital on the spot — by dispatch order or privately — without a new call.
